Future Mark has always given me a good laugh. People download the latest version and test there system. Oh no my vid card sucks. Now I have to run out and buy the next best thing to come on the market. If you have the bucks and can afford to push the envelope more power to you. But 75% of the gamers can't afford to keep upgrading to the next new $1000 CPU and two $600 vid card that comes out every 4 to 6 months. Besides how many games are on the market that even render anything like what Future Mark runs.

The first to use HDR is HL2:LC that I know of and SM 3.0 was just used by first cards in the last few months. In fact, FarCry was first game I know of to even use PS 2.0 and that was a year ago, year and a quarter or so.
